Festo offers PM aluminum tubing for new welding cells and as a retrofit for use in existing systems. According to the company, the tubing serves as a weld-spatter-resistant alternative to laminated and steel pneumatic tubing.

The tubing can be located close to the welding process, creating an efficient pneumatic setup without the worry of burn-through. Featuring a nominal OD to prevent clearance problems, the tubing is designed for standard pneumatic push connectors out of the box, with no need for special tools or oversized connectors.
