Festo offers PM aluminum tubing for new welding cells and as a retrofit for use in existing systems. According to the company, the tubing serves as a weld-spatter-resistant alternative to laminated and steel pneumatic tubing.

The tubing can be located close to the welding process, creating an efficient pneumatic setup without the worry of burn-through. Featuring a nominal OD to prevent clearance problems, the tubing is designed for standard pneumatic push connectors out of the box, with no need for special tools or oversized connectors. Once formed, the tubing holds its shape and stays in place without the need for additional clips and tie downs. A36 Steel Pipe
